U.S. Army M42A1 Armored Vehicle Protective Mask

The U.S. Army M42 series Armored Vehicle Protective Mask was identical to the M40 series, but with the addition of a microphone, and a hose to be hooked up to a vehicle's forced air system. The M42A1 shown here is equipped with tinted lens outserts and hood. This example was made by Mine Safety Appliances in 1992.
